Burnt Enz and Homeslice have invited nine of the finest pizza-peddlers in the city, plus three additional guest chefs, to the Climpson & Sons Roastery for the Pizza Party of the summer. This event is not a competition, but a celebration of some of London’s favourite pizza-makers.
Guest chefs are set to include Due Sardi, Saporitalia, Well Kneaded, Van Dough, Lardo, Sodo Pizza Café, Junya Yamasaki, Ben Spalding and Ben Denner (Lucky Chip).
Each pizza chef will have two allocated 90 minute cooking slots, meaning up to three chefs will be cooking on three different ovens at any one time. An “Expression Session” will follow in the evening, with the additional guest chefs, Yamasaki, Spalding and Denner, each bringing their own style and interpretation to two different pizzas.
£10 presale tickets (guaranteed entry + 4 portions of pizza)
Punters will have the opportunity to enjoy a diverse and creative range of pizza, from an elite selection of innovative, traditional and accomplished chefs. Portion vouchers will be available to purchase on the day, but pre-sales are currently available and recommended.
With DJs including Future Sound of Clapton (Comadisco), Gabbi Woo (MT Live) and Oli FT, a full bar serving craft beers, fine wines & spirits, and the glorious space of the Climpson’s railway arch, this is set to be the Pizza Party that London has been waiting for.
